Amsterdam street light 3D

and the lamps used for this are truly beautiful pieces of architecture; so beautiful in fact that I thought they deserved a dedicated 3D photo post. The first street lighting system was introduced in Amsterdam in 1669 and it was designed and implemented by Jan van der Heyden, who was painter. It seems he did a very good job. Notre Dame de Paris 3D

Begun in 1163 and almost completed by 1250, Notre Dame is an beautiful example of French Gothic architecture. The Notre Dame is the most popular building in Paris, beating even the Eiffel Tower with 13 million visitors each year. But the famous cathedral is also an active Catholic church. Ka-52 3D

It is a multi-role, soviet, military, all-weather attack helicopter, capable operating in daytime and at night. Development started in 1994 and the type was first flown in 1997. The Kamov Ka-50 and Ka-52 are the world’s first coaxial attack helicopters. The Ka-50 Black Shark and Ka-52 Alligator have entered service with the Russian Army in 1995. Developed in the mid 1980s, the Kamov Ka-50 Black Shark is also the world’s only single seat attack helicopter and the first production helicopter to be fitted with a zero-zero ejection seat.

People's Friendship Arch 3D

The Friendship Arch was constructed by sculptor A. Skoblikov and architect I. Ivanov and others.
