Pripyat’s “Energetic” in 3D

3D images show one of the interesting places of Pripyat. Pripyat was founded in 1970 as a city for the Chernobyl nuclear plant workers and their families. It was designed as a prime example of the ideal Soviet city built for the workers.

There were all conveniences and places for entertainment that a young family could desire in the city: high-rise apartment buildings, schools, a cultural center, a hospital, swimming pools, movies, stores, cafes, playgrounds and a stadium. 3D photos present “Energetic”, the main cultural center of Pripyat. The walls are still covered with a little bit faded but still bright colors. No photo essay from the exclusion zone is complete without photos of the big wall picture of its hall.

But there is moss on the walls and a mess on the floor. The building used to have large windows, but it’s clear that marauders have been here as floor is covered with a thick layer of broken glass.
